We received a phone call this morning from an angry driver with regards to the Wednesday night ride.
Upset at being held up by a large group of cyclists his main concern was cyclists overtaking him on the inside to join the large group that was already holding up traffic..
You do not have the right to undertake as this is illegal and dangerous if the driver is in a larger vehicle and has not seen you.
My suggestion is you stop on the way out at the Aquarium and Swizzle just to allow the rush hour traffic to pass and riders wishing to catch up to join back on.
While we all wish drivers were a little more patient with cyclists, on this ride you are ambassadors for the shop and therefore some concession needs to be made to help change tin box users view of cyclists.
